Identification Requirements:
  • U.S. Passport Book (valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel) A Passport Book (not card) is required for all international flights and cruises.
  • It is possible for U.S. Citizens to travel on domestic U.S. flights and certain U.S. domestic cruises that begin and end in the same U.S. homeport with a State Enhanced Driver’s License Real ID compliant (called Star ID in Alabama) plus a birth certificate issued by a government agency (state/county/city) or the Department of Health and Vital Statistics.
  • Warning: If you travel with only a Real ID compliant driver’s license and birth certificate (without a passport), please be aware that in an emergency you will not be able to fly back into the United States from a foreign port. In this case, you will need to go to the closest U.S. Embassy to get an emergency passport at your own cost. Extra travel expenses would be at your expense as well. (supporting official documents are required to acquire an emergency passport )
  • Effective May 7, 2025, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security will require every state and territory resident to present a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or another acceptable form of identification, such as a passport or enhanced driver’s license, to go through airport security and board a flight within the U.S.  If you will be flying to a cruise homeport within the U.S. on/after May 7, 2025, please ensure you have a valid ID for your air travel. Visit  www.tsa.gov/real-id for more information.

Please complete this form with the EXACT name on the form of ID you will be using for the cruise booking and air travel.

Don’t just guess – LOOK AT YOUR PASSPORT OR DRIVER’S LICENSE before completing this form.

NOTE: If your Passport, Driver’s License and/or TSA PreCheck or Global Entry cards list your name differently, you need to take time and have them corrected to match your official name (name listed on birth certificate, latest marriage certificate and/or official name change document). We see issues relating to this discrepency way too often.

Add Travel Insurance to my Booking

– IF YOU REFUSE TRAVEL INSURANCE: you agree that you are traveling at your own risk. You may lose the cost of your trip if you must cancel, are delayed getting to the ship or if there are extreme weather events. Your U.S. medical insurance is not accepted in the Caribbean (some may cover U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam). Caribbean hospitals/clinics and cruise ships require payment up front for medical needs. You are responsible for any other expenses you may incur due to unforeseen circumstances. Carnival Cruise Line nor Anderson Travel and Tours are responsible for any losses or inconveniences you incur. (If you plan to rely on just credit card travel coverage, please read the fine print very carefully – it is more than likely not full coverage.)
