  • Admission to Shelburne Museum
    (This outdoor New England village museum spans 45 acres with 39 antique buildings displaying four centuries of American history, art, and design. You’ll have the opportunity to see the 220-foot steamboat Ticonderoga (a U.S. National Historic Landmark), American folk art, hand-sewn quilts, and paintings by iconic American artists like Andrew Wyeth. The vastness of the collections is impressive: there are over 3,200 American prints, drawings, paintings, and graphics as well as 225 horse-drawn vehicles on the grounds. The museum is the only place in Vermont where you can see Impressionist works from the likes of Monet, Manet, and Degas. There are also elegantly manicured formal gardens, perennial gardens, herbal and vegetable gardens.)
  • Visit to Cold Hollow Cider Mill
    This is on of Vermont’s most popular tourist attractions. The mill is one of the leading New England producers of fresh apple cider producing more than one million gallons of cider each year. You’ll take a step back in time to witness Vermont farm life and see different facets of the cider making business. There is also a honey bee corner, bakery, jelly room and general store.
  • Tour of Rock of Ages Granite Quarry
    Vermont is labeled “The Granite State”. Located in Graniteville, Vermont, this quarry has been in use since the late 1800’s. Granite from the quarry has been used in a number of famous memorials and monuments, and seeing the quarry up close is a unique experience. You’ll watch talented sculptors transform granite into a lifelike statuary.
  • Visit to Stowe Village
    You’ll love this picturesque and charming New England village.
  • Visit Vermont History Museum in Montpelier, the State Capitol of Vermont
  • Church Street Marketplace
    This is an award-winning pedestrian mall covering four blocks in the central square and is home to over 100 restaurants, cafes and boutique shops. This open-air marketplace is located in the heart of Burlington, Vermont’s largest city, and it is located adjacent to the Church Street Historic District.
  • Vermont Barn Dance at the historic northern Vermont Mansfield Barn
    While watching dancers perform an actual Country Line Dance, you’ll have an opportunity to join in the fun, if you choose. During your visit, you’ll be accompanied by a Vermont Farmer that will speak to you about the history of the farm, the farming culture, and the historical significance of the Mansfield Barn.

    Located on Madison Avenue and attached to the south of the Empire State Plaza in Albany, this New York attraction was established in 1836 as a state geological and natural history survey. The museum’s collections and exhibitions explore New York State’s significant natural and cultural diversity and serves a research and educational institution.
  • National Museum of the Marine Corps, Triangle, VA
    This museum is a lasting tribute to U.S. Marines–past, present, and future. Situated on a 135-acre site adjacent to Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, and under the command of Marine Corps University, the Museum’s soaring design evokes the image of the flag-raisers of Iwo Jima and beckons visitors to this 120,000-square-foot structure. You’ll experience world-class interactive exhibits using the most innovative technology and see irreplaceable artifacts.

Travel Insurance and COVID-19 Restrictions

  • In order to participate in this trip you must:
    ~ be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (including a second dosage, if required) at least 15 days prior to the departure of this trip.
    ~ you must submit a copy (front and back) of your COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card to Anderson Travel and Tours
    ~ you must wear a mask when required
  • Travel Insurance must be purchased at the time of booking. You will not be able to get a refund without travel insurance.
  • If you have pre-existing conditions or an injury, you must get written approval from you doctor stating that you are cleared to travel “prior” to signing up or taking out travel insurance.
  • Depending on the current restrictions at the time of travel, temperature checks may also be conducted prior to boarding the motorcoach and individuals with a fever of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or more will not be allowed to board, must visit their doctor immediately and file travel insurance.
  • Other restrictions may apply. We must comply with the laws of each state we travel through or visit and any additional restrictions implemented by hotels, restaurants and attraction locations.
  • You are welcome to bring snacks on the tour, but homemade snacks will not be allowed to be passed around in open containers as we have done in the past. All snacks must be individually wrapped.

Disclaimers:

  • If a booking is cancelled after payment is made, travel insurance must be filed in order to receive a refund.
    Why? Anderson Travel and Tours pays deposits to tour operators and/or to reserve buses, hotels, attractions, restaurants, etc. and is under a final contract deadline based on the number of people who pay their final payment. Anderson Travel and Tours must immediately prepay the total amount for hotels, shows, tours, food, etc. at the time your final payment is received. NOTE: If you have motion sickness, please prepare and bring medication, sick bags, etc. Please be aware that the tour directors will have the first 2 seats in each row reserved at the front of the motorcoach. We cannot accommodate anyone with special seats. (seats are not assigned)
